EXT. QUITE STREET - NIGHT
The sodium vapor light from the lamp post shines through the street. A skinny 35-year-old man walks in. He has black hair, black eyes-- wearing a long-sleeved black shirt. It's tough to see his face. As he walks, he looks to the right and left. This is FOX.
We see a handsome young man in his 20s who reminds us of the American star Neil Patrick Harris. This is LI. Except for his eyes and nose, his whole face is covered by a black mask. The mask has a white lion scar on the front of it. He throws an extra mask to Fox as he comes in from the right. Fox catches it as it flies by and wears it as he moves.
A man in his late 40s joins these two from the left. This is LEO. As he adjusts his mask, we can see the scar on his right wrist--which looks like a cut from a knife. He hides it by pulling down his sleeve. Fox, Li, and Leo continue forward.
A 34-year-old woman with an amazing body is standing on the sidewalk waiting for these three people. While smoking a cigarette, she watches them go by. This is DOL. Her long hair flows like a river, and her mask is dangling from her arm. She ties up her hair, pulls her handgun from her hips, checks the ammo, and finds that it is loaded. As soon as she puts on the mask, she moves in the same direction as these three guys.

INT. COLLEGE CLASS ROOM - FLASHBACK - DAY
SAM
I kind of like her vibe, Luke.
LUKE
I think you should talk to her and get out of what's comfortable for you. In the world we live in now, the biggest risk is not taking any.
Sam's eyes are fixed on her in hypnotic fascination.
MONTAGE Begins
EXT. RESTAURANT - DAY
Through the window glass, Sam notices Laura seated alone at the table.
INT. RESTAURANT - DAY 1
SAM
(takes a seat)
I hope I'm not too late.
INT. RESTAURANT - DAY 2
SAM
(while sitting)
I am early this time.
INT. RESTAURANT - DAY 3
SAM
(seated)
I waited like an hour.
INT. RESTAURANT - DAY 4
SAM
(self-adjusts in chair)
Aah, you are finally here.
INT. RESTAURANT - DAY 5
Laura and Sam give each other long, lingering looks. They both eat from the same plate while sitting next to each other. Strong sexual energy fills the air.

INT. PAUL’S LIVING ROOM - DAY
As the last scene of 2001: A Space Odyssey plays, the end credits start to roll.
PAUL-- A tall, skinny 15-year-old boy named Paul sits on the couch with his friend JOHN, who is the same age as Paul.
PAUL
How was it?
John was asleep the whole time.
EXT. STREET - LATER
Paul and John take a stroll down the street.
JOHN
How did it go? There was nothing on the screen for the first two and a half minutes. After that, the actors hardly spoke to each other. And I am glad I fell asleep.
(then;)
How was it!
A teen sprints toward them. This is DYLAN. He seems to have come as soon as he woke up and stops close to them.
John and Paul disregard his presence.
PAUL
(softly)
Hey! The filmmaking community considers this to be Kubrick's finest work and the peak of cinema.
Dylan tries to talk, but John stops him with a hand signal.
JOHN
Really? You seemed to have a good time. What happens in the end?
PAUL
(befuddled)
In the end...he; I'm not sure; I'll have to watch it again.
DYLAN
Guys.
PAUL
What's the rush, Dylan?
DYLAN
What are we going to give him this time?
PAUL
(stunned)
What day is it?
John looks at his phone and flips it over to Paul.
Title: Blue Smoke
BLACK SCREEN
JOHN (V.O.)
Sometimes I feel like I need to be free, away from all of these masks.

EXT. JOHN'S HOUSE - NIGHT
A large opulent home in a quiet neighborhood.
INT. JOHN'S BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS
There is a man laying on the bed. He is faced up towards the ceiling with his eyes closed. This is JOHN, a 28-year-old man with a normal body and long hair.
JOHN (V.O)
I think the smoke from the cigarettes is more independent than I am.
We look around and notice that a pack of cigarettes is sitting on the table next to his bed.
JOHN (V.O.)
(smiles)
I mean smokes are independent in nature. They are let go to be free. But I'm not interested in any other smoke the way I'm interested in cigarettes.
INT. HOSPITAL LOBBY - NIGHT
JOHN (V.O.)
Before you judge me, let me tell you that I smoke to calm my nerves...
We get closer to John, who is on a stretcher.
JOHN (V.O)
...to conquer my depression..
John's vision is blurry.
JOHN (V.O.)
…and to ease the pain.
He notices the faces of four people approaching him.
JOHN (V.O.)
This tiny stick is more of a medicine than any medicine could ever be.
The stretcher is being pulled by these four guys. When John squeezes his stomach, blood drips from his hand. They walk up to the doctor's cabin and knock on the door.
JOHN (V.O.)
To put it simply, I'm not a junkie.
We move closer to the door. John screams in fear. The room fills with bright white light.

INT. BAR - NIGHT
Title: Devil
The place is Crowded with many people. A MAN with a neatly tucked-in white shirt and brown formal pants is sitting and sipping a Lemonade with his back to us-- his suit jacket hangs on the chair's back. He is seated near the counter's stool.
A little further on, we see THREE GIRLS waiting their turn to order drink. The BARKEEPER brings out two rum shots and a white beer on the counter for these girls.
KATE (F, blonde, 29), LAURA (F, 28), and INNA (F, 27) look behind them for someone to take these drinks away.
The bartender points to the same man we saw earlier and gestures that "the drink is on him".
Inna is annoyed by the man's flirtatious action. To assert her position, she approaches him.
INNA
She's totally out of your league dude.
Kate giggles with Laura and doesn't pay much attention to Inna's conversation-- as she frequently indulge into this behavior owing to her fondness for Kate. Kate approaches the man with Laura.
INNA
(to Kate)
This dude is acting like a hanged Windows program.
Inna taps his shoulder repeatedly.
INNA
End task. End task. End task.
The man remains unbothered. As soon as Kate opens her mouth to say something, her BOYFRIEND walks up with two beers. Most likely, one beer is for him and the other is for Kate.
Kate's boyfriend offers her a drink, but all of her attention is on the man, who is still slowly sipping his lemonade. She moves toward him.
KATE
(to the Man)
I appreciate the effort, but I'm not interested.
The man downs the drink in one gulp while seated. He turns around. This is VEER(M, 29).
VEER
Neither am I-- not anymore.
Kate is surprised. He has changed so radically. Kate's reaction confuses her boyfriend.
Veer gets up and takes the jacket off the chair. He gives Kate a nod. Kate does nothing but stand there and watch him leave. Kate is deep in thought, and she can't figure out what's going on around her.
